Cardiac ‘Cuse: Battle drains buzzer-beater in Clemson (full coverage)

Andrew White III tallied his fifth-straight 20-point outing and Tyus Battle sank a last-second buzzer-beater from behind the arc, as Syracuse (16-9, 8-4 ACC) defeated Clemson (13-10, 3-8 ACC), 82-81, on Tuesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum.

With seven seconds on the clock and the Orange down, 81-79, John Gillon brought the ball down the court to find Tyler Lydon at the top of the arc. Lydon took one look to his right and made a swift pass to Battle, who put the 3-pointer up for the last-second buzzer-beater under pressure to secure the fifth-straight conference victory.
