Canandaigua man accused of assaulting woman

Members of the Canandaigua Police Department arrested a Canandaigua man on multiple charges after he assaulted a female victim during a domestic incident.

Sabastian V. Washington, 40, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree harassment.

He is accused of slapping a female victim, throwing her on the bed, and preventing her from leaving the room. He also damaged her television.

Washington will answer the charges at a later date.
