HWS cited for providing good value

Hobart and William Smith Colleges said it has been named among the nation’s best colleges and universities for having outstanding academics, affordability and financial aid and student outcomes.

The recognition appears in the Princeton Review’s 2017 edition of the “Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck.”

HWS said points of distinction include strong student-faculty engagement, career preparation and guaranteed internship programs, a personalized financial aid program and a robust alumni network.

In addition, the newly released book also places the Colleges in the spotlight for being a top producer of U.S. Fulbright Student Awards, with 14 students earning the prestigious international fellowship during the past two years.
