The priority list of projects eligible for the city’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative effort has been finalized.
The only change is an addition.
The Geneva Resiliency Center, pitched by Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes, was added by the Local Planning Committee to the Draft Strategic Investment Plan — as the priority list is officially called — which had to be sent to the state for initial review by Friday. The state will in turn provide comments and return the document to the LPC for review. The Final Strategic Investment Plan must be sent back to the state by Feb. 28.
The LPC met Wednesday evening to discuss the list, but some members were unable to attend, said City Manager Matt Horn. Those members cast their votes on Thursday. The results were confirmed by Bergmann Associates — the consultant hired by the city to handle the bulk of the DRI work — on Friday morning.
