Guardian seeks new tax deal from city

Guardian Industries would pay a significantly lower amount of taxes under a proposed payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement that would replace the current deal set to expire in 2022.

The company manufactures float glass at the Geneva facility. Guardian is one of the largest manufacturers of the product, which is used in windows.
