Canandaigua superintendent search narrows to three

Three people are in the running to replace Canandaigua School Superintendent Lynne Erdle, who is retiring at the end of the school year.

The Canandaigua City School District Board of Education has narrowed its search to three finalist candidates.

Matthew Cole is superintendent of schools at Livonia Central School District. Cole has previously served as elementary school principal, curriculum coordinator/staff developer and secondary social studies teacher for Livonia schools.

Linda Doty is elementary principal for Oswego City School District. Doty was previously a director of AIS/data management, director of grants and partnerships and principal for the Oswego City School District.
