Hot shooting lifts Newfield into state final 4

Tied at 20 and coming off a ho-hum first half with only a handful of field goals, Newfield made a few tweaks to its offensive game plan, hoping to give its shooters some better looks.

Seward of Section 9 in the Class D boys basketball state regional at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton.
