A 49-year-old Rochester man is facing two felony charges for allegedly cheating at the del Lago Resort & Casino.

Jing X. Jiang, 49, of Rochester was charged with first-degree gaming fraud and third-degree grand larceny – both felonies – by state police.

He is accused of cheating by “past posting” while playing mini baccarat at the casino on March 12th. The cheating allegedly took place around 9:40 pm. Police say that he changed his wager multiple times while playing at the mini baccarat table, allowing him to win nearly $6,000.

“Pasting Posting” is a well-known way to cheat in the game mini baccarat. To do it, the cheater adds chips to a winning water after the result of the hand has been determined, according to Syracuse.com.

It’s unclear when Jiang will appear in court again.
