Two bridges in this Ontario County town, each close to 100 years old, will be replaced later this year.
County Public Works Director Bill Wright said the Ferguson Road bridge, originally built in 1935, is scheduled to be closed to traffic in early June. During the project, traffic will be maintained with an offsite detour using Seneca Castle Road, Vogt Road and County Road 20.
The project completion date is slated for early October.
A $798,000 contract was awarded to Economy Paving Co. of Cortland.
