Dundee, Troopers reach agreement for station

The New York State Police will continue to have a satellite station in Dundee for at least the next five years.

Dundee village officials are awaiting the return of a signed contract with state officials that will keep the station in the village-owned building on Union Street. On March 16, the village board approved the contract that calls for the state to pay $2,000 per year over the next five years for the use of the building.

The contract, which covers the period from March 1, 2016 to Feb. 28, 2022, can be renewed for up to two five year terms at a rate of $1 per year if both parties agree.
