An Ovid man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he was involved in a domestic dispute.
The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on April 4th at approximately 3:00 pm deputies arrested Damien M. Hennigan, 18, of Ovid following a an incident.
It is alleged that Hennigan engaged in a physical altercation with a female victim that began on the night of April 2nd and continued into the morning of April 3rd.
As a result of the investigation Hennigan was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of second-degree harassment.
The endangering charge stems from a 5-year-old being present during the dispute. He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
He’ll appear in Ovid Town Court on April 18th. An order of protection has been issued on behalf of the victim.
