Officials are in the process of drafting a comprehensive plan for the town, but before they do, a community-wide survey of town residents will be conducted.
The Town of Ovid Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee has launched the survey, asking town residents for their thoughts on a number of issues.
“It’s now time for community members to weigh in on the things that matter most to them,” said John Hubbard, committee chairman.
Hubbard said the committee has been hearing from smaller focus groups and has used that input to help shape survey questions.
“We really look forward to engaging in a community-wide discussion,” Hubbard said. Questions on the survey cover a range of topics and focus on the most frequently discussed issues.
