Seneca Falls man charged with DWI, was speeding on Bayard St.

On May 9th at approximately 1:16 am deputies in Seneca County say a Seneca Falls man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on E. Bayard St.

Deputies say Kyle V. Stengel, 35, of Seneca Falls was seen traveling down Bayard St. at a high rate of speed, at which point deputies initiated a traffic stop.

An investigation led to Stengel being charged with driving while intoxicated, speed in zone, fail to keep right, un-inspected motor vehicle, and operating out of class.

He was arraigned in Tyre Town Court before Judge Mills and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 secured bond.

Stengel will appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on June 9th to answer the charge.
