Protesters hold die-in by Reed’s office in Ithaca

In response to U.S. Congressman Tom Reed’s vote for the American Health Care Act, protesters decided to hold a die-in from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday on East State Street in front of the building that contains his Ithaca office.

“We were all horrified when Tom Reed voted on the Trumpcare bill,” said Judy Swann, a member of the West Hill Resistance Group. “We don’t want him to forget that we know that the health care bill he voted for will kill many of our friends and neighbors here in New York’s 23rd. Our goal is to make sure Tom Reed is not re-elected to New York’s 23rd.”
