On Thursday, May 25th Midlakes Primary School first graders remembered the men and women who died while serving in the country’s armed forces during its 30th Annual Memorial Day Program.
Students carried flags and flowers, presented the history of Memorial Day, and recited poems to honor our nation’s brave men and women. They also sang patriotic songs, including “This Land is Your Land,” “Grand Old Flag” and “God Bless the USA” accompanied by Mr. Jim Trowbridge and the Midlakes Intermediate School band.
