Romulus man charged with DWI

Deputies say a 25-year-old Romulus man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on State Route 96 on May 29th.

Timothy Carroll, 25, of Romulus was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI and improper left turn after a traffic stop. The traffic stop stemmed from an observation of Carroll operating his vehicle erratically.

He eventually made a left turn onto a muddy laneway, which prompted the stop, according to law enforcement.

Carroll was issued tickets and will answer the charges on June 23rd.
