Victor, Pal-Mac stroll into state lacrosse semis

Your guess is as good as Victor’s. Or Palmyra-Macedon’s.

Or Vestal or Jamesville-DeWitt, for that matter.

The state semifinals for boys lacrosse are as much guessing games as they are lacrosse games, but at some point on Wednesday afternoon, the guessing will stop. The assertiveness will kick in, and that’s what will extend the season.

The Victor boys play Vestal of Section IV in a 6:30 p.m. Class B semifinal at St. John Fisher College and the Palmyra-Macedon boys play Jamesville-DeWitt of Section III in a Class C semifinal at 4 p.m. at Cicero-North Syracuse.

And given the unfamiliarity of each team with each other, this is where the guessing part comes into play…
