Deputies: Rochester man was selling LSD before Dave Matthews concert

On Sunday a Rochester man was arrested on drug charges after an incident in the CMAC parking lot, according to deputies.

Authorities say Dirk T. VanGrol was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after he sold LSD to an undercover office while at the CMAC parking lot prior to a Dave Matthews concert.

VanGrol was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and was committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bond.

The charges will be answered in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date.

Members of the Wayne County and Seneca County Sheriff’s Offices assisted with the investigation. The Canandaigua Police Department also participated.
