On Tuesday, Jurors were shown surveillance video from three trips to Walmart including one on July 20, the day Robbyn Drew, Craig Rideout’s sister, reported him missing.
Drew testified in court today, and says when she couldn’t reach Craig right out by phone or email she went to his home.
She found Laura right out in the kitchen “She was wiping a counter,” Drew said in her testimony. “She said i knew it wouldn’t be long before someone came looking for him. I don’t know where he is.”
Laura Rideout was not supposed to be in the home because of a custody order.
Rideout explained her presence to Drew this way, “She said the kitchen smelled kind of funny and she was tidying up”
The two left the home together. This was the same day prosecutor say Craig Rideout was being strangled and killed in his basement and his face was disfigured by acid.
