Auburn school board re-elects McCole, Rhodes for president, vice president

The Auburn Enlarged City School District Board of Education has finalized its leadership for the next year — and the names may look familiar.

Michael McCole and Kathleen Rhodes — who have served as the board’s president and vice president, respectively, for the last few years — were nominated and re-elected to those respective positions at the board’s re-organizational meeting at the Harriet Tubman Administration Building Wednesday night.

McCole was nominated by board member Eli Hernandez, which was seconded by Fred Cornelius. Rhodes was nominated by Jeffrey Gasper and was seconded by Hernandez.
