It’s been a lot of work, but for organizers Anne Sandroni, Dennis Schannel and the entire Canal Fest team – it’s been infinitely worth the effort.
“It’s great to see Seneca Falls come together in this way,” Sandroni explained while on a special edition of the Inside the FLX podcast. The duo talked about the efforts, and energy that has been spent by the entire team working to make this year better than the first iteration of Canal Fest in 2016 – after a reboot of the historic event.
“This is the kind of thing that really showcases what Seneca Falls is all about. Through sponsors, volunteers, and the community events like this make for a special weekend,” added Schannel.
The event will feature activity on both sides of the canal – and will even incorporate a midway, along with vendors, and much more. The event will be highlighted by an aquacade – as well as a firework display that will be a sight to see, according to organizers.
