An Auburn woman was arrested Monday for stealing personal items from an acquaintance’s apartment, the Auburn Police Department said.

Capt. James Moore said that on June 25, Laura Harmon, 38, entered the victim’s apartment and took a wallet, phone and small amount of cash. Harmon then drove to a Burger King where the victim’s fiance worked and returned the wallet and phone to her.

Harmon, of 234 Hardenbergh Ave., Auburn, was arrested following an investigation by the Auburn Police Department and was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny, both felonies.
