Montgomery Gentry, Parmalee announced for del Lago’s Vine this September

On Friday, del Lago Resort & Casino announced Montgomery Gentry will take the stage Sept. 9th at The Vine and Parmalee on Sept. 29th.

On Sept. 15th and 16th, The Vine will also host Elvis Explosion, an international showcase and competition featuring the world’s most successful Elvis tribute artists.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at noon Wednesday, July 19th, and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at (315) 946-1695 or online at dellagoresort.com/entertainment.

From “Hillbilly Shoes” to “Headlights,” Montgomery Gentry has become one of the most identifiable duos in the history of country music. Known as much for their outlaw-meets-gentleman sensibilities, their yin and yang personalities and their intensely energetic live performances, their balance of voices gives their brand of country an edge and their version of southern rock a softer place to fall. After nearly a decade and a half, Montgomery Gentry continues to draw door-busting crowds to their concerts and release albums that stay true to the Kentucky country music movement they helped define. They have earned ACM and CMA awards, sold several million albums, and been honored with memberships into the Grand Ole Opry and Kentucky Music Hall of Fame.

Comprising brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and their best friend Josh McSwain (lead guitar), Parmalee is the quintessential American country band. Raised on a diet of southern rock, country and blues, the band formed in 2001 as a bunch of small-town boys chasing wild weekend nights, but their talents eventually took them beyond the little cement-block barn they rehearsed in and onto country music’s biggest stages, not to mention the top of Billboard’s country chart.

The Vine will also welcome Elvis Explosion. The international Elvis impersonator showcase will include two preliminary competition performances the evening of Friday, Sept. 15, and during a matinee on Saturday, Sept. 16. The final competition show featuring the most successful Elvis tribute artists in the world will take place the evening of Sept. 16.

Tickets may be purchased for additional upcoming performances already announced at The Vine, including:

  • Shinedown: July 21
