Henrietta man accused in fatal crash had prior DWI arrests, knew Farmington victim

The Henrietta man accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed a young mother Monday morning has a record of getting behind the wheel after drinking.

Louie Restivo, 47, is charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI after the crash in Mendon on Boughton HIll Road.

Kline, the victim, went to high school with Restivo’s son.

The 26-year-old mother of two was headed home to her daughters after spending Sunday volunteering at a golf tournament to benefit the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. The tournament was hosted by Flaherty’s in Honeoye Falls. Knowing she would be celebrating afterward, friends say Kline made arrangements so she didn’t have to drive home.

Police say Kline was killed by someone who failed to do the same.

“The implications of getting in the car when you have been drinking and driving are so far reaching,” said Lori Meath, outreach coordinator for the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. “This has not only taken Hannah’s life but changed her girls’ lives forever.”
