Sheriff: Geneva man sold heroin throughout Seneca, Ontario counties

Seneca County Sheriff Tim Luce says a Geneva man was arrested after an investigation into heroin sales throughout Seneca and Ontario counties.

Timothy P. Ryan, 35, of Geneva was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both are Class B felonies.

Ryan was arrested after an investigation into the sale of heroin in the area. Investigators say they were assisted by members of the Geneva Police Department.

Ryan was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is currently committed to the Ontario County Jail on similar charges.
