Justin Vossler's "Jeopardy!" success has netted him more than $100,000 in winnings.
Vossler, a Homer resident and Moravia High School history teacher, won "Jeopardy!" for the fifth time Wednesday. He led the entire game and entered Final Jeopardy with $22,200.
For the second consecutive game, he didn't have the correct response in Final Jeopardy. But it didn't hurt his standing. He finished the game with $17,200.
Vossler's five-day total is $110,000.
The streak makes him eligible for the "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions, a competition featuring some of the best players from the most recent season or seasons of the TV game show.
When the "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions tracker is updated Thursday, Vossler will hold the 13th spot out of 15 players who may participate in the competition. The timing of the tournament is unknown. It likely won't be held until late fall.
