An Auburn man was arrested Tuesday for his second drunk driving offense in 10 years, New York State Police said.
According to a press release, on July 25, troopers stopped 31-year-old Rafaelin Espinal on North Street in Auburn after witnessing erratic driving. He was arrested after failing multiple standard field sobriety tests and transported to the state police station in Auburn, where he refused to submit a breath test.
Espinal was charged with felony driving while intoxicated due to a prior DWI conviction. He was also charged with refusal to submit a breath test, failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely and failure to stop at a red light.
