This wasn’t the first time Nolan’s restaurant had to close its doors. The Canandaigua favorite shut down for just over a month in 2014 when it moved from its home on Lakeshore Drive to a new location on South Main Street. But this time was different.
A four-alarm fire that took place in the early morning hours of July 13 and destroyed the building, has left the owners of the restaurant with a lot on their minds.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to the Canandaigua Fire Department, Nick Violas, an owner of Nolan’s, said that he is hopeful that they will rebuild and reopen in the future, but its too early to tell just how long that will take.
