FLACRA receives funds for treatment operations

State Sen. Pamela Helming, R-54th District, recently announced that Finger Lakes Area Counseling and Recovery Agency is one of six projects to receive $18.7 million in funding.

The money is part of the $491 million Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program to improve patient care in communities by developing medical facilities and programs that serve various needs. Funding was enacted through this year’s state budget.

FLACRA received $3.5 million to further integrate its inpatient rehabilitation with on-site outpatient services, and improve the transition of patients back into their communities. FLACRA was awarded its money based on the strength of its application.
