Seneca Falls man charged in $8,500 larceny investigation

On Saturday at 1:05 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Dakota R. Standbrook, 18, of Seneca Falls.

The arrest stems from an investigation that began in June of 2017. Standbrook was found to be in possession of stolen property that was valued at $8,500, according to police.

As a result of the investigation, Standbrook was charged with one count of third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class D felony.

Also, Standbrook had an active bench warrant for violation of a conditional discharge.

The warrant was issued by the Town of Seneca Falls Court. He was arraigned on both matters in the Town of Seneca Falls Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

Standbrook will be held in lieu of $5000 cash or $10,000 bond. He is due back in town court on September 27, 2017, at 9:00 am.
