The Seneca Falls Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a 2003 to 2005 red Ford F-150 FX4 pickup truck.
Police say the occupants of the vehicle may have seen the fatal motorcycle accident that happened around noon on Sunday along State Route 5&20 near the former village line.

On Tuesday, SFPD also confirmed what FingerLakes1.com learned from family of the driver on Monday. Chris Derosia, who was the operator of the motorcycle, died from injuries sustained during the crash.

On Monday, FingerLakes1.com learned from a family member of the motorcyclist involved in Sunday’s accident on Rt. 5&20 succumbed to his injuries.
Christopher Derosia was traveling east on Rt. 5&20 in Seneca Falls, around the former village line, when he crossed into the westbound lane, struck the curb and was ejected from the bike.
He was initially transported by North Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital, and was later transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital, but died from the injuries sustained in the wreck.
No other vehicles were involved, and as of Sunday, Seneca Falls police noted that the investigation into the wreck was ongoing.
Family members say Derosia was married and had three daughters. He was also employed at Goulds.

The Seneca Falls Police Department, Seneca Falls Fire Department and North Seneca Ambulance were called to the scene of the motorcycle accident, which happened around the former western village line on State Route 5&20.
Officials say Christopher J. Derosia, 34, of Waterloo was traveling east on Rt. 5&20 when his motorcycle crossed into the westbound lane striking a curb. Derosia was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered serious injuries, according to police.
Police note that while Derosia was wearing a helmet, the injuries were serious enough for him to be transported to Geneva General Hospital — then transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation, according to police.
A serious motorcycle accident was reported in Seneca Falls on State Route 5&20 around noon, according to local reports.
First responders were contending with a serious crash, which involved a motorcycle, and at least one patient. Within moments of arriving on-scene, LifeNet was called to transport an occupant, possibly the driver to a local medical center.
Traffic on area-roads was challenged — as drivers were redirected away from the crash scene.
