The three people convicted of charges stemming from the murder of a Penfield father are expected to learn their fate on Friday.
It’s sentencing day for Laura, Colin, and Alex Rideout. The three were found guilty in July of being involved in the murder of Craig Rideout. His body was found in Yates County wrapped in a tarp in July 2016.
Craig’s estranged wife Laura and his son Colin were found guilty of murder and tampering with evidence. A jury also convicted Laura on a burglary charge. Another son Alex was convicted of tampering with evidence.

Laura Rideout is facing as much as 25 years to life for the murder charge, and as much as 15 years for the burglary, and one-and-a-third to four years for tampering with evidence.
