Waterloo man arrested after Seneca Falls domestic incident

On Saturday around 2:09 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 48-year-old Waterloo man for criminal obstruction of breathing after a domestic incident that took place in Seneca Falls.

Police say Abraham Shammah, 48, of Waterloo put his hands forcibly around the neck of a female victim, which resulted in her not being able to breathe.

She was uninjured, but Shammah was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and released on his own recognizance.

An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
