Seneca Falls resident charged with welfare fraud

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on November 3rd at approximately 9:30 am, investigators arrested Urcelina Rosario, 51, of Seneca Falls on one count of Welfare Fraud in the Fourth Degree and three counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, all class E Felonies.

It is alledged Rosario did commit a fradulent welfare act to obtain Medicaid Benefits for which she was not entitled. It is also alledged, Rosario did knowingly complete and file false paperwork while at the Seneca County Division of Human Services Department on three separate occasions.



Rosario was released on appearance tickets and is to appear before the Waterloo Village Court on December 6th, 2017 at 5:00 pm to answer the charges.
