Seneca Falls man arrested on weapons, drug charges following search warrant execution

Seneca Falls Police arrested Michael R. Wheeler, 34, of Seneca Falls following the execution of a Search Warrant at his residence on Monday November 6th, 2017 at 6:20 am.

The Search Warrant was issued based upon an investigation into drug sales within the Town. Wheeler was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon – a felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Police seized a Dagger, US Currency, Marijuana, Hydrocodone and items consistent with the packaging and sale of Marijuana.

Police also seized equipment and precursors used in the manufacture of Concentrated Cannabis. Wheeler was arraigned in Tyre Town Court and was held without bail due to prior felony convictions. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 8th at 10 am in Tyre Town Court.
