Three indicted on drug charges by grand jury in Ontario County

Ontario County Sheriff Philip Povero announced the execution of three arrest warrants, which were issued by a Grand Jury.

Deputies say the arrests took place on Thursday and Friday and were collectively the result of a lengthy investigation.

All three subjects were indicted by the grand jury after a three month investigation into the sales of narcotics in the Village of Manchester was conducted by the Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, three individuals are said to have sold cocaine while on the premises of the Timber Creek Tavern located on South Main St. in Manchester. Each individual has been charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Cheryl Groescup, 46, of Phelps was arrested in Manchester on Thursday and held at the Ontario County Jail in lieu of bail.

Adam VanEpps, 43, of Rochester was located at his place of employment in Monroe County and arrested. He was arraigned in Ontario County Court and released.

Travis Jacobs, 28, of Keuka Park was taken into custody in Penn Yan with the assistance of the Yates County Sheriff’s Office. He was released on his own recognizance.
