The arrival of the del Lago Resort & Casino this year has prompted town officials to examine its impact on the zoning code, comprehensive plan and the Route 318-414 corridor master plan.
The town Planning Board and Town Board will meet together for a work session Monday to start that process.
The public is invited to attend, but public comment will not be allowed at this meeting. Public hearings will be scheduled in the future, according to Planning Board Chairman Bob Seem.
Seem said consultants have prepared a master plan for commercial development along the Route 318 and Route 414 corridors where most commercial development exists and is expected to take place in the future. That plan is available on the town website.
Among the proposed zoning code changes are a change in the zoning districts from the current agricultural, residential, commercial and industrial.
