An Auburn man will spend the next five years in prison for possessing more than half an ounce of cocaine.
Jose Grego, 34, of Auburn was arrested in February and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony. At the time, the Auburn Police Department said the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force found a “substantial” amount of cocaine at Grego’s residence.
A second felony offender, Grego pleaded guilty in October to a reduced count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony. And on Tuesday, he appeared in Cayuga County Court for sentencing.
