Police: Canandaigua grad killed in Cleveland car crash

A 2015 graduate of Canandaigua Academy died in a one-car crash on Tuesday in Cleveland, according to officials.

The Rochester resident, identified as Robert Park was driving his car near Edgewater Park on Memorial Shoreway when he missed a curve, crossed over several lanes and slammed into a cement abutment of a railroad bridge.

He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe he may have fallen asleep at the wheel, prompting the accident.
