Traffic stop leads to felony charge for Seneca Falls driver

Police say a Seneca Falls resident was found driving a vehicle on a suspended license, while under the influence of alcohol, following a traffic stop on Ovid Street.

According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, Haley J. Ferrell, 37, of Seneca Falls was stopped after failing to maintain his lane on Ovid Street. Police say he crossed the center line while driving, which they observed, and caused them to initiate a traffic stop.



Ferrell was found to have a suspended license, which resulted in a number of charges including:

– Felony aggravated unlicensed operation;
– Driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol; and
– Unsafe start and failure to keep right.

He was processed and released on appearance tickets. The charges will be answered at a later date in Seneca Falls Town Court.
