Major drug, weapons bust sends Seneca Co. man to prison

A Finger Lakes man is heading to prison after being arrested last summer in a major drug and weapons bust.

On Tuesday, Shawn Rousseau, 33, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Rousseau was arrested in June of 2017 after an extensive investigation by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit. Upon executing a search warrant of his mobile home in Lodi, police seized $5,000 worth of cocaine drugs, nearly $3,500 in cash, and numerous weapons including imitation pistols, throwing knives, a dagger, metal knuckles, and a kung fu star.
