A second Republican committee in the Finger Lakes region has endorsed Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb for governor.
The Seneca County Republican Committee endorsed Kolb, R-Canandaigua, last week, according to chairman Tom Fox.
"Our committee is very appreciative of Brian Kolb's many accomplishments in the state Assembly and we feel strongly that he has the right stance on the issues that are important to New Yorkers," Fox said.
Seneca is the second county GOP committee to endorse Kolb in the race for governor. He also received the backing of the Yates County Republican Committee.
Yates County neighbors Kolb's Assembly district, which includes all of Ontario County and part of Seneca County.
