Geneva man arrested on felony drug charge after 2017 conviction

On Monday at approximately 9:21 pm members of the Geneva Police Department and Ontario County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a 33-year-old Geneva man on a felony drug charge.

Maurice O. “Flash” Maxon, 33, of Geneva was charged with second-degree felony criminal sale of a controlled substance after allegedly selling over one-half ounce of cocaine in Geneva.

According to police, Maxon was out on bail awaiting sentencing for another second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance charge, which he pled guilty to in 2017.

Since his arrest, Maxon is being held without bail due to the prior convictions.
