Police: Waterloo man arrested on multiple charges after domestic incident

On March 30th at approximately 12:47 a.m. police arrested a 24-year-old Waterloo man after a domestic incident.

Alejandro S. Aguilera, 24, is accused of slapping a female resident and then fleeing the scene after learning police were being contacted.

Shortly thereafter, police observed Aguilera driving his car on Cayuga Street. A traffic stop was initiated and it was determined that he was operating his motor vehicle in an intoxicated state, while his driving privileges and motor vehicle registration were both suspended.

Aguilera was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC greater than 0.08 percent, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration and Harassment in the Second Degree.

He was arraigned at the Seneca Falls Town Court and was released on his own recognizance.
