Crews responded to a serious apartment fire in Canandaigua during the early-morning hours Tuesday.
The fire on Bristol Street happened at a multi-unit home where three families were living.
No injuries were reported, but a cat died in the fire.
Extensive damage could be seen from the exterior.
The Canandaigua Fire Department, VA Fire Department, and a FAST Team from Crystal Beach was requested, too. Cheshire Fire Department assisted at the scene after the initial call was placed. The Red Cross is on-scene.
The fire is under investigation.
