Three people were hospitalized after an early-morning crash involving a tractor-trailer on Route 13 in Lansing.
State Police were called to the report of a crash around 2:05 a.m. and as result, Route 13 was shut down for five hours as crews worked the scene.
The Ithaca Voice says the car was traveling south when it crossed into the northbound lane and collided with the tractor-trailer.
Roads were icy and snow-covered at the time of the wreck, according to state police.
The driver of the vehicle was extricated and transported to Upstate Medical Center for head and leg injuries, according to the Voice. The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to Cayuga Medical Center.
The roadway was reopened by the morning rush hour commute.
