Ithaca Police release sketch of suspect in attempted assault

Authorities in Ithaca have released a composite sketch of the person believed to be behind an attempted sexual assault on Linden Avenue.

The incident took place on March 11th around 10:15 p.m. when an unidentified male grabbed a female victim from behind, and attempted to take her clothes off.

The victim fought off the suspect, who then fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’10” tall, average build — with medium length blond or brown hair.

The suspect appeared to be in his 20s, and was clean-shaven at the time of the assault.
