Repeat offender faces more drug charges in Cayuga County

Richard Bizardi had been out of prison barely a year when he was rearrested in Cayuga County last fall, and now a grand jury has charged him with possessing drugs once again.

On Tuesday, Bizardi was arraigned on an indictment charging him with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B and C felonies. He was also charged with three counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors.
