Winter in April?
It’s felt like that over the last few weeks, and it looks like the forecast has two more ‘wintry’ days in store for the Finger Lakes.
Snow showers will dominate the forecast this afternoon as temperatures remain cold enough for precipitation to come down as snow. It won’t be as persistent or heavy as the rainfall was on Monday — but there will be periods of precipitation for most of the region.
Wednesday will be calm, with higher temperatures — and a break from the precipitation.
Then, Thursday will be a return to winter. FLX Weather Meteorologist Drew Montreuil says temperatures will again — be just cold enough — for most of the precipitation in the region that follows a small storm system to be snow.
Some grassy surfaces may accumulate a light dusting — but no serious accumulation will be expected.
