How does climate impact our community? Climate change is not just about polar bears on icebergs. In cooperation with the Naples Community Park, the Summit in the Valley will be held in Naples, NY, on May 20th, 2018 11:00 – 3:00. At the Summit find out how local organizations are working to protect our soil, lakes, streams, and forests. Learn about renewable energy solutions for your home and what is being accomplished in our state government. Discover ways to improve your garden soil and encourage pollinators. Local business owners will share how they are adjusting their businesses to be more environmentally friendly while still producing world-class products. Learn from experts how to reduce what goes into our landfills. Join your neighbors for this free family-friendly event to connect, learn, and be inspired by what the Naples Valley and surrounding community have to offer.
We welcome two delicious food vendors! Phon’s Thai Food and Potatoes and Molasses, a farm to table organic food truck. Music will be provided by our talented local Naples School music department.
Handmade Summit in the Valley cloth bags will be available for a donation that helps support our event. Not only will you be supporting future events at the Naples Community Park but you will use fewer plastic bags when you shop.
